Morgan and Associates was founded in 1993 by Mr. George H. Morgan, after a long and distinguished career in the industry as a professional engineer specializing in product, process, manufacturing, and market development, as well as technical sales and marketing. Mr. Morgan's accreditations and accomplishments include:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design option), Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
• M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Heat Transfer and Thermal Dynamics option), University of Missouri - Rolla (now known as Missouri Institute of Science & Technology).
• Extensive post graduate studies in engineering, economics, and education.
• Former Professional Engineer, previously registered in the states of Illinois (Ret.), Indiana (No longer registered), Kentucky (Ret.), and Louisiana (Ret.) Michigan. George's patent work crowded out his Professional Engineering activities, so George is no longer active as a Professional Engineer.
• Society of Automotive Engineers: Forty-year member serving on various committees, including chairmanships. George was winner of the prestigious Forrest R. MacFarland award for his contributions to sessions and programs in the Off-Highway Activity of the SAE.
• Society of Automotive Engineers where he chaired and served on several committees.
• Registered Patent Agent # 26,959 since 1973.

Mr. Morgan is also a successful inventor, holding numerous U.S. and foreign patents covering equipment and safety improvements in the heavy equipment and hydraulics fields. His patents include:

• 4,226,318 Hydraulically Actuated Cone Clutch
• 4,263,991 Combined Fail-Safe and Service Brake -- co-inventor
• 4,306,640 Multi-Range Hydraulic Drive. This is a way to get broader speed and torque range using clutches to clutch in (or out) auxiliary motors.
• 6,279,317 Hydrostatic Drive With Regeneration Circuit (Canadian 2,310,267).
• 6,438,951 Hydraulic Drive With Regeneration Circuit.
• 6,922,992 Hydraulic Drive Circuit With Flow Driver and Bypass Valve.
• 7,000,386 Hydraulic Intensification Circuit With Rotary Flow Divider and Bypass Valve.
• 8,776,935 B1 Bi-Directional Overrunning Clutch Assembly -- co-inventor with Jim Straw.

Other patents involved various jack improvements. Among his un-patented inventions, Mr. Morgan has a hand-held mine roof bolt torque wrench. Most of Mr. Morgan's inventions improved safety, involved hydraulics, and have succeeded commercially.
